Record water inflow at Tarbela, Mangla dams |

LAHORE: The flood situation in the country could further worsen with record inflow of water at Tarbela and Mangla dams. The inflow and outflow of water in Tarbela has been recorded 7,10,100 cusecs and 5,27,200 cusecs respectively. The water level with fresh inflow in Tarbela has reached to 1522.5 ft. The dead level of the dam is 1378 feet. The inflow and outflow of water in Mangla dam was 2,21,300 and 186,600 cusecs respectively. The water level in Mangla has reached to 1205.10 feet. The dead level of the dam is 1040 feet.The water inflow at Chashma Barrage has been recorded at 5,99,300 cusecs, while the outflow of water was 646,100 cusecs. |
